This information was produced by FirmTek, LLC for customers desiring an analysis of the performance options available with the FirmTek dLite and the 2012 Apple MacBook Pro running Mac OS X 10.9.4. Results may vary with different SSD, HDD and computer operating systems. As an example, the 2013 Mac Pro offers slower USB 3.0 ports which may cause SSDs to perform 50-90MB/s slower and will limit USB 3.0 bandwidth for RAID.
