The FirmTek ThunderTek/PX-Q6G provides outstanding performance with SATA hard disks and 6G SSD devices. RAID 0 SSD average Read performance of 708MB/sec. can be achieved when using the miniSwap/ES and a 2011 or later Apple MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini or iMac computer. The ThunderTek/PX-Q6G offers an ultra high performance adapter for mounting eSATA HDD or SSD over a Thunderbolt port. This new product allows customers to mount their existing eSATA devices over Thunderbolt, whether it be on the new 2013 Mac Pro or 2012 or any other Thunderbolt equipped computer. The ThunderTek/PX-Q6G adapter allows customers to continue using their existing legacy eSATA devices while enjoying the benefits of Thunderbolt.
